Who we are
The team behind Peony are the Bucknall family. Tina Bucknall, Peony’s lead buyer, started in interior design, running a successful business in Hurstpierpoint in the heart of West Sussex.
Tina’s son Tom, a keen entrepreneur, developed a successful accessories business by attending events like Hickstead and the South of England show and selling scarves, bags, gloves, and hats. But as that business grew and evolved, the Made in Italy clothing began to outperform the accessories, and this inspired the Peony brand.
Today, Peony is a true family business, with Tina’s husband Nick serving as the finance director, while Tom and his sister Anna hold key positions as buyer and operations manager respectively. This close-knit family dynamic infuses Peony with a unique blend of professional expertise and personalised service.
“We’re dedicated to helping women feel their absolute best,” says Anna. “Our collections are curated with the idea that clothing should be both a comfort and a confidence booster. By offering exclusive designs, we ensure that each Peony piece not only makes you feel amazing, but also celebrates your individual style”.
